This Privacy Policy explains how BookMeTable collects, uses and shares personal information when you use our website, booking platform and related services.
BookMeTable is the organisation you deal with for the booking platform. Where a processing activity has a separate legal controller, that will be identified to you.

2. Information we collect
We may collect:
- identity and contact information, such as name, email address and telephone number
- booking details, including restaurant, date, time, party size, table preference and special requests
- account information if you create a customer, restaurant or admin login
- communications you send to us or to a restaurant through the platform
- technical information such as device type, browser and security logs
- transaction information where a payment, deposit or subscription is processed
- information needed to administer, amend or cancel a reservation
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- provide and confirm bookings
- communicate with customers and restaurants
- administer accounts and restaurant portals
- prevent fraud and misuse

- maintain security of the platform
- process payments where applicable

4. Restaurant sharing
Where necessary to fulfil a reservation, we share relevant booking information with the restaurant you booked. That typically includes your name, contact details, party size, date and time, and any notes you provided.
The restaurant may process that information as an independent controller for its own dining service, or as a processor depending on the arrangement with that venue.
5. Legal bases
Depending on the processing, we may rely on:
- performance of a contract — to complete your booking
- legal obligation — for records we must keep
- legitimate interests — such as platform security, fraud prevention and service improvement
- consent — where the law requires it, for example certain marketing or non-essential cookies
6. Marketing
Marketing communications are sent in accordance with UK data-protection and electronic-marketing rules. Where consent is required, we will obtain it and you may withdraw it at any time by contacting us or using the unsubscribe option in the message.
7. Retention
We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected, to meet legal obligations, handle disputes, prevent fraud and keep legitimate business records.
8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. International transfers
If personal information is transferred outside the UK, BookMeTable will use an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism where required.
